This is something I’ve been wondering, as for me personally I’ve been collecting for lots of platforms, but definitely with a focus on GameCube as it was the first console I had that I didn’t have to share with siblings.

As for playing, I tend to focus on PS3 and PS4 games, as I like completing games I play and the platinum trophies are a nice reward for the way I play.

Even if you collect/play a little bit of everything, where do you think your focus really lies, or what platform are you the most familiar with?

As far as focus goes, it's a toss-up between PS4 and PC for me, though I do also use my Vita from time to time. Achievements/Trophies are definitely a motivator for me! I don't "focus" much on anything these days due to a severe reduction in my free time though.

I'm pretty familiar with a lot of platforms since I'm a gaming nerd in that I like learning about games and systems probably more than actually playing them. I've been spending my reading time learning about the Jaguar lately after a somewhat exhaustive stint with the 3DO.

I figure if I can't afford to collect all these fun toys, I can at least be knowledgeable about them!
