As we say goodbye to 2019, I thought we'd have a few giveaways!

Next we have Jurassic World Evolution on Steam. I'm a big fan of all things Jurassic Park (and dinosaurs in general!) and I had a lot of fun with this one. Sure, it was a bit more simplistic than I would have liked in some ways, but it was still a blast to research things and build out the park.

To enter this giveaway, all you need to do is post what you think would be a great Jurassic Park game.

I'll randomly select a winner from those that participate. You have until 11:59 PM EST on 12/30/19 to enter!

I think that a great Jurassic Park game would involve a choice of playing as either the dinosaurs or the humans with different storylines for both. The dinosaurs would involve trying to escape the cells and killing any person who stands in their way and the humans would be trying to survive the dinosaur attacks. There would be multiple characters and each would have a different set of skills. The game would also be open world for exploring the island.

A sequel to Warpath would be amazing!

Perhaps not quite in the spirit of the plots of the movies or even the themes, but I think it would be cool to play as a wildlife photographer going back to an overrun Isla Nublar long after the dinos have all escaped and just cataloging them for a magazine. Of course, there would be stealth elements to try and stay hidden from the dinosaurs and perhaps some chase sequences, but it would mostly be about taking photos and maybe even befriending some of the friendlier herbivores. That's what I would want, anyways

Team based Friday XIII style game in which you have a team of Dinos battling it out against an overmatched group of humans. Maybe like 3 on 10 or something. Humans could lay traps and the only goal is to get off the island.

It would be open world and you would need to capture a large list of dinosaurs all around the map and you'd find new weapons and stuff along the way to help you

Something between Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and Dino Park Tycoon, I need it to have some nice gameplay but I dont need it to be too serious all the time. I would like a ridiculous JP:OG ooh or maybe a demake for fun.

I loved Jurassic Park for the 3DO. Hard as hell and had moments that raised the hairs on my neck. A sequel or a reboot of that game would be awesome.

A different take for a completely different game is your the scientist behind experimenting with the splicing and creation of the dinosaurs. However a promising specimen developed unexpectedly and wrecks chaos on the island. You have to use stealth, your wits, the computer systems, and strategy to lure the Dino’s away from you as your main goal is to escape the island.

I think my perfect world game for Jurassic Park would be an open world / survival game. Yeah, I know ARK is out there, but it's not quite what I'm after (though it's a very fun game). I recently replayed Trespasser and although it has many issues, I think that's more of what I'm looking for. But anyways, I've rolled up my D20 and the randomly selected winner is...

ARK was okay. It felt too soulless with respect to what you actually did with your dinos though. Like collecting cars in a Gran Turismo game to store in your garage, they just sat there doing nothing until you decide to take it out for a ride. Granted, I haven't played it in a long time, so maybe things have changed since then.

My ideal Jurassic Park game would be a mix of Alien Isolation meets Pokemon Snap.

Also, congrats Cheesyben!
