I ordered some FamiCom games and was looking to see if I would be able to add them to my collection.

I understand there will not be any price data (in reality, price data on FamiCom games is not really accurate on English websites).

I saw FamiCom Disk System, but not Famicom or Family Computer.

Hurdle #2 - Japanese specific games. How would they be listed? By English title? by Japanese title? Ex: Sukeban Deka or Yo-Yo Girl Cop.
Is there an option to list custom named?

Hopefully I'm just missing something like last time with NFl Football. Thanx!!!

Better Example (the actual game I purchased)
Japanese Title - Transformers: Convoy No Nazo
English Translated Title - Transformers: Return of Optimus Prime

When entering data, we've listed Famicom games under Nintendo Entertainment System to line up with their North American and European counterparts. The same situation exists for Genesis and Mega Drive (and Sega CD and Mega Drive CD). I've considered adding alias names to regions that could show up throughout the site, but things get confusing like when you try to edit a game (do we show NES or Famicom, what happens when you change the region on-the-fly?) I've also considered just showing both names together, so instead of Nintendo Entertainment System, maybe it's NES / Famicom.

As for the games themselves, we use the official release names. Generally speaking, if it was released in North America, we use that name. If not, it becomes a judgment call of (generally) using either the European or Japanese title. But to answer your specific question, if it's a Japanese-exlusive title, then it would be listed with its Japanese name. We sometimes also add an alias to make the game more searchable, if it has a popular English description. This can be tough sometimes since I don't speak or read Japanese and titles can vary on the Internet, but you can always post here if you find anything that seems off.
