Been using the site for ages but now filling in my whole collection and had a couple of requests, or questions if the feature is there but I can't find it:

1. The Added on date is really prominent in the collection list view, but I think this is just the date I input it on the site. The acquisition date is much more useful and although I can sort by it I can't make it the main date that displays in the list - can this be added as a toggle?

2. Could you add an option to display dates in UK format (DD/MM/YYYY) please?

I think we had talked about using acquisition date when it's available, but opted not to do that to prevent confusion (and I think we even considered a toggle like you suggested). But I agree, if it's available, it's more useful than when you add something. If you're in the Expanded view, the acquisition date is displayed in the column of data underneath the platform. I'll think some more on the toggle, but seems like something that would be useful.

Adding a date format preference is definitely something I want to add and it's long overdue. It's a fairly impactful change as dates are shown all over the place, but once I have a solution in place for a single field (editing and viewing, of course), it should be easy to replicate. I'll make a note to try and scope this one out soon.

Just following up here to say that I have started working on the date format setting, which will be a new option on the My Account page. As I mentioned before, to actually pull in your preferred format throughout the site is a very large change just because of how many dates are displayed on the site. To that end, I have started implementing it in a few places:

• Add Completion modal
• Edit Completion modal
• My Completions page (grid)

That covers an add, edit, and view action, so now it's just a matter of replicating it everywhere else

Currently, there are only two formats available:

• mm/dd/yyyy (this is what we have now and will be the default that everyone has to start with)
• dd/mm/yyyy

Anyways, this will all go out with the next release, so feel free to play with it and let me know if you have any issues. I'll be gradually working through the rest of the site, but it will take a bit.

I agree with you on acquisition date - it's only useful if people fill it in each case so they have a chronological record of their collection, so wonder how many others on here are OCD enough to want to... But it would be great to have shown rather than the couple of random dates when I've input about a hundred games at once. Or just to be able to shut off the display of the 'added on' date in the compact list view, given you can already order chronologically by acquisition date anyway.

And great fast work on the date format, I'll keep an eye out after the next update.

I think I've fixed up all of the dates on the site so they use whatever you have in your account settings. I haven't gotten to the acquisition date toggle yet, but it's on my list! If anyone sees a date that doesn't seem to be formatting correctly based on your settings, please let me know (once the next release goes out the door, of course ).
