DuckTales for NES, huh? It seems like Completionator keeps reading my thoughts. I don't know if anybody here remembers it, but in the 2010s, there was such a thing called Retro Game Gauntlet. It was a cozy little challenge that inspired gamers to complete random retro games, one for each platform moving from the oldest ones towards the 6th generation, 2013-2014 was the period in which I had the most interest in this style of gaming. When I first heard about the RGG, me and my friends, we decided that we just couldn't stay on the outside. Just, please, let me know if there may be something wrong with completing the Bounty game using an emulator (without cheating, of course) because that's how I want to do it. Thanks! |

I haven't heard of Retro Game Gauntlet, but I love the idea. I've had a thing that I refer to as "Through the Ages", which is basically one game per platform that I own in chronological order. I never actually tried to complete this particular challenge, but it's something I've thought about There are no rules against emulators and in fact, DuckTales is part of The Disney Afternoon Collection, which as far as I know is an emulated version of it (and a few others) for modern platforms. |

Yeah, the strict chronological order might add another interesting twist to this concept, I can see it. Not to mention that RGG used to give its participants totally random titles to beat, not only from their collections. That's why it involved using emulators more often than not. Thanks for some useful information, moho_00! |
