What the topic says. Take a trilogy for instance. When tackling your backlog, is it best to tackle the games in the trilogy back to back to back playing all 3 in a row, or is it best to space them out and play other games between them?

I’d say from a story perspective it’s prolly easier to do that. But from a gameplay perspective, you could get burned out on playing that same type of game. For example playing an Assassin’s Creed back to back to back.

Depends on a few factors for me. Games that require a ton of time individually, like RPGs, or games that have high difficulty requiring a lot of attempts, I will want to inject some smaller easy "palate cleansers" in between to avoid burnout. Or if the series is easy/short but with a lot of entries (ie: early Mario games) I would toss something different into the mix after a couple of games to break things up a bit.

What people are saying about burnout is 100% correct, as dhobo says a few palette cleansers are necessary. So if you're focusing on a trilogy, throw one of the bounties in, or work on a challenge or join the mercenary guild and someone might assign you a game as well.
