I just finised Limbo on xcloud and it played pretty well I must say!

I played it on my Windows 10 laptop using the xbox app as part of the game pass collection. You already could use xcloud on mobile and via the browser, but since a week it has been integrated into the xbox app (you have to participate in the xbox insiders program).

I must say that up until now all the xcloud stuff kept me a bit cold but now that I can steam those games anywhere, and in pretty good quality (subjective), i must say they are really offering something great in that respect.

Didn't expect it to be that easy and good. Pretty fast loading times so I am all in :) I also played Wolfenstein: New Blood and that also feels pretty good and responsive. Graphic wise not a lot of artifacts, at least not so much it distracts.

Also the new version improves remote play from your own xbox a lot which means freeing up the TV doesn't bother me that much anymore as I can just continue playing somewhere else.

All in all very surprised at what Microsoft has delivered.

Finally a request: Could XBox xcloud be added as a platform? I own Limbo myself, but as I finished it on xcloud I like to add that detail to my completion :) thanks!

I definitely think we need some sort of support for this! I'm not too familiar with it, but it sort of seems like a digital format rather than a standalone platform (since it streams Xbox games...I think?)

It's a service like Playstation Now, Google Stadia and Geforce Now. If you have Game Pass Ultimate you can play almost all games on PC and mobile without installing it as it is a steaming service. It works pretty well although it is not yet at the same quality level of the other services mentioned. And you don't have to own a XBOX to use it. So pretty comparable.
If you do have a XBOX you can use remote play to steam that to your PC or mobile. Last thing is pretty great because it streams all games so also all the backward compatible games from XB or X360. So playing Gears of War 2 and Fable II right now :)
