Hey ho,

I was wondering, do you guys capture or stream your adventures?
For some time now, I got the urge to capture my gameplay for later reference, but I don´t have enough storage on my PC. But, to be realistic, there wouldn´t be many instances using the reference so maybe it is an urge I should ignore.

What do you guys think?

Sometimes I do, and I've been meaning to do it more, but not necessarily as a rule. I certainly don't stream everything, just things that I think would be interesting to reference later.

I'll also sometime do a capture with older games that don't have save capabilities, just to prove to myself later that I actually completed the game lol.

I can't say I've ever had storage problems, but I also have a number of external hard drives and services like Dropbox and OneDrive, so my files are sort of all over the place.

Nope. Only exception is Minecraft, I am documenting my playthrough of it on my YouTube channel via a series of streams.

I usually do. Way back when it was uncommon, I was posting the first 10 minutes of gameplay from various games up on YouTube. A false copyright claim, with YouTube not allowing me to defend myself, ended that, unfortunately. I remember thinking it was neat that a German game magazine website was using one of my YouTube videos for one of their articles.

I still record for fun. I don't post it anywhere, though. I just throw 'em on external hard drives and one day I'll get bored and watch some of 'em back or let them play in the background while I do other things.

They're also handy for getting completion times for games that don't have an internal clock.

Not generally, no. I want to get a capture card so I can stream stuff from retro consoles, but that's not in the cards at the moment.
