How do bounties work? What decides what games get picked for bounties? Can I add my own bounties in case there are none that i want to do?

So generally bounties will follow some sort of event or be voted on from a list of ideas generated by the owner of the site moho.

For example this month a vote was held from a list of ideas and mario games won out so eventually the site will be updated to reflect those monthly bounties. Sometimes the monthly bounties will follow a theme for example horror games near halloween.

the other bounties usually reflect new releases or game anniversaries etc. You can't make your own bounties but if you're having trouble picking something to play you can:
1) Use the random game feature under My Collection
2)Do challenges under Browse Database
3)Join the Mercenary Guild and have someone assign you a game

Ah I see, can I ask someone to add talos principle 2 to the bounties in some way then? It released earlier today.

I would post the request in here, there's always a "monthly bounty vote" thread started near the end of the month, since Talos Principle 2 is new it's a sensible one to add to the ongoing bounties alongside the mario theme bounties
