It would appear that the original Wipeout XL is now available for purchase and play via the Xbox platform. I personally am curious how long Sony will wait before they actually try to shut this down, as legal owners of the Wipeout franchise. It was clever of Microsoft to release this game with the modified title and exploit the legal technicality that this specific game predates Sony's acquisition of the franchise a couple years later. I am curious what my fellow collectors have to say about this recent fascinating development.

Looks like a new database entry will need to be made for this title or modify the existing entry to also say or reference Anti-Gravity Racing Wipeout-XL.
