(This is a copy of my Heretic note, but I'm assuming most of the changes are similar. I also know the port adds a way to change your class mid-game with the enhancements)

Just a note for those planning to play this in the new remaster: The port includes enhanced levels, which adds certain enemies you'd meet later into earlier maps, low-to-huge changes in level layouts, etc. If you want to play the "true original" version, make sure once you get to difficulty selection, go to "Difficulty Modifiers" (TAB on Keyboard and I think View/Touchpad/Minus on Consoles) and disable the four enhanced additions.
