What is the best game you PLAYED in 2014? This doesn't have to be something that was released in 2014, but just something you played this year and thought it was the best of the year.

Great question! I'm having a hard time picking just one, but for games I finished for the first time, these were my favorites:

  • Arc the Lad (PS1)
  • Battalion Wars (GameCube)
  • Blur (Xbox 360)
  • Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One)
  • Sacrifice (PC)
  • Shining Force (Genesis, by way of Xbox 360)
  • StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm (PC)
