Description

Decided to only put games that I 100% finished (base game + achievements) or finished to the best of my ability on this list.

1

Trailmakers

This game was a blast and I took my time with it. It was fun to build and come up with fun vehicles even if they failed and you had to try again. While not technically done after adventure mode since it's a sandbox, I hope they add some expansions in the future!

Frostpunk

This game has a steep learning curve after the initial tutorial bits. It seems so simple at first but you really have to do a lot of setup during the calmer parts of the game to ensure you can actually beat the scenarios. The fails were frustrating but ultimately learning how to better the next play-through.

What Remains of Edith Finch

This game was short and sweet, it hit me in the feels for sure. They also left it the perfect length.

Old Man's Journey

Ditto. (The train part was pretty annoying though.)

Tacoma

I liked this game leaving it up the player for the timing of revealing and figuring out the story.

Untitled Goose Game

The hi-jinx in this game are what I was looking forward to the most. Some of the challenges in the game are funny to figure out and the ending is very cool.

Pikuniku

Had to play this one two times in the same sitting because I didn't pay attention to missable achievements... The game is funny and pretty easy though so it wasn't a chore. Reminded me of flash games during the early 2000s.

Skate 3

Revisited this after EA play added to Game Pass Ultimate. This game gives you a lot of moments to have some epic skating moments. Some of the challenges that I left behind though are batty level difficult (to me at least) with the time limits involved.

Dead Cells

A bit of a learning curve on this game but once you get the hang of it, you can't help but play "one more run".

Forager

This game is addictive and plays like an isometric MineCraft/click simulator hybrid. I waited too long to figure out the ridiculous multiplier tricks to get gobs of items but I had a blast regardless.
