Description

It was definitely an adventurous immersive-sim year for me. This list contains only games I have finished during the year.

Other games I have finished: KGB Unleashed, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Among The Sleep, Arkham Horror: Mother's Embrace, Armikrog, As Dusk Falls, Beautiful Desolation, Conarium, Discworld Noir, Frankenstein: Through The Eyes Of The Monster, Genesis Noir, Gorogoa, Hard West, Immortality, Layers Of Fear, Layers Of Fear 2, Legend Of Kyrandia, Little Nightmares, Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy, Morning Sun: Descent To Deadrock, Norco, Psychonauts 2, Rise Of Insanity, Sam & Max Hit The Road, Shadowrun Dragonfall, Silver Chains, Stick It To The Man!, The Darkside Detective, The Hand Of Glory, The Lion's Song, The Medium, The Shore, The Uncertain - The Last Quiet Day, Truberbrook, Warhammer Vemintide 2, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart Of The Forest

Death Stranding

A unique game, not for anyone. Delivering goods and contributing to infrastructure of a ruined America, mostly under harsh conditions was very appealing. The game cleverly adds gameplay layers after almost every main quest in order to introduce you to its complex mechanisms. The plot is puzzling but marvelous, supported by a fantastic cast!

Prey (2017)

Maybe the best immersive sim in my opinion. Deus Ex meets Alien Isolation.

Darkest Dungeon

Highly addictive turn based roguelike.

Metro 2033 Redux

Unbelievable immersion and atmosphere in a post-apocalyptic Moscow.

Deus Ex

The father of immersive sims. Over two decades later, still plays very well.

Pentiment

What a surprise from Obsidian! An adventure RPG with a unique art direction and a very intriguing story. The closest game to Disco Elysium you can play.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

Continues Innocence story and is improved in any way. Excellent optimized graphic engine. One of the most beautiful games both in its dark and light moments. Emotional too.

BioShock: Remastered

No comments for one of the most memorable and influential games in gaming history.

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry

Al Lowe couldn't imagine a better heir for his legacy! Germans nailed it by bringing an 80's Larry in the modern era.

Firewatch

An emotional trip through the US wildlife.
