2022's Top 10 Games
Elden Ring
Hands down, one of the greatest titles I've played. Am so hopeful that much of the formulae in this game that works will be applied in open world games for years to come.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered
Another title I slept on that my boyfriend played years ago and loved, and now I see why. Such a beloved cast and, in my opinion, a better version of the tried-and-true Pokémon archetype.
Mafia III: Sign of the Times
One of the best DLCs that happens to be in one of the most bland games I've ever played. Was glad I stuck around to experience this one.
A Plague Tale: Innocence
Had no expectations walking into this one, but was blown away by the presentation. Characters felt real in all the right ways, and the gameplay was more than just a hallway simulator... most of the time.
Returnal
Waited for a while on this one, but have to say it was enjoyable from start to finish. Top notch gameplay that felt very smooth on PS5.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Another title I slept on, but glad to pick it up now with the enhanced performance patching they've done. Got a bit tedious in parts (the open world format issue) but still a fun time.
Vampire Survivors
Yeah, you already know. Steamdeck may hate my addiction, but I can't get enough.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Not a perfection title like 1, but still a great entry into the series.
God of War (2018)
A replay of a gem.
