A clever fusion of MOBA games and air hockey, this unique game is responsible for draining a lot of my time away from other completions. Fun gameplay, great music and and a truly unique multiplayer experience make this my game of the year. An absolute war-crime that this game isn't more popular.

Put simply Metroid Prime is one of the best games ever made, all this remake had to do was not screw it up, and they didn't.

One of the deepest strategy games around. If you like complicated games that reward paying attention and living with your mistakes, this game is hard to pass up.

Excellent metroidvania with funny dialogue, good mechanics and some really catchy music. Easily the best Shantae game.

Metroid 1 was rough, luckily this remake completely replaces it, very much a worthy entry to the series.

Seems to have been a year of remakes for me. Yakuza Kiwami greatly improves the combat mechanics of Yakuza 1. While I still recommend starting the series from the very beginning, Yakuza Kiwami works great as a substitute.

Probably one of the best shooters around, no gimmicks and satisfying action only surpassed by F.E.A.R

Underrated action mmorpg with great combat and exploration akin to Breath of the Wild or Genshin Impact.

Taking all the ideas of Pikmin 2 and executing them much better, Pikmin 4 is a great addition (3 might still be the best though). Also Oatchi is a very good boy.

This one was surprising, really engaging rogue light that serves as the single best use of a consoles gimmick I've ever seen. If you try it, do the Wii U version, the tablet adds a lot to the game.
