My personal ranking of 10 top games I played this year

Signalis

One of my new top favorite games. It might be the my new favorite game of all time, but only time will tell.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F

I finally perfected every song (including the Extra songs) on every difficulty. It's the 1st DIVA game I've truly 100% completed and it was a blast. I'm hoping I can do the same for F 2nd.

Dead Space (2008)

I enjoyed everything about this title, and I'm currently working my way through the rest of the games. The original is still my favorite out of them all.

Resident Evil 4 (2005)

The game that started my survival-horror kick for this year. While it's more of an action-horror game that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. I'm planning on finishing the remake soon, maybe next year.

Resident Evil 2 (2019)

I almost had all achievements for this on PS5 but No Way Out is still too hard for me to beat. Maybe next year...

Super Mario Galaxy

Replayed on the 3D All Stars Collection. I did what 8 yr. old me couldn't do and got all 120 stars. I plan on doing it again as Luigi since it was a very enjoyable experience, and now I can play anywhere with the Switch.

DJMax Respect V

I got a new gaming laptop so I could finally play this game with a stable framerate, which really improved my experience. I'm hoping to get better at 6B mode with some extra practice.

Superhot

I love the unique gameplay of this title. I've only played the main campaign and some of the extra missions but I loved every minute of it. Definitely want to complete more of this game in the future.

Sonic Generations

I used to think this game was overrated, but I have to admit it's pretty solid. The game is extremely forgiving in its difficulty, but I still had a fun time playing it.

Dead Space (2023)

I played this immediately after finishing the original Dead Space and I have mixed feelings on this as a remake. While I do appreciate the extra quests, being able to travel anywhere on the Ishimura, and the upgrade rework, I find this game to oddly be a lot less scarier than the original. Maybe it's because I knew what to expect. It's not a bad game but as a remake I have some issues with it.
