Wow, great find! I've been looking for Tribes 1 and 2 since I used to play those and I'm always looking for a nostalgia fix :P |

CT Special Forces: Fire for Effect https://www.indiegala.com/store#banner_form_box Edit: Be advised, I'm getting a "no serial available yet" showing up instead of a key for whatever reason.

I tried doing the CT one. I did the transaction and everything. I then got to the page where you hit the Steam button and it produces a code. When I do that, it says 'No serial available yet.'. Very strange. Seems like the same issue as Dhobo. I sent an email to their support to see what is happening.

I waited and tried again after about an hour. My serial showed up this time, so I think it's working again. edit: Also appears this game needs to be added to the site? I don't see it in my searching at least, but I'm a bit sleep deprived, so I'll let someone more mentally capable double check :P

That is weird that it seems to be not there. I already had it on Steam, so it should have come up as something that needed to be added when I imported. |

Ah, I remember this game now! I knew I had looked at it before and it's actually the same game as Special Forces: Nemesis Strike. It was known as Counter Terrorist Special Forces: Fire for Effect in Europe. I've updated the alias name so it should be picked up in searches now (although I entered it as "Counter Terrorist" instead of "CT"...sometimes Steam is weird like that). |

Do you mind if I change part of the alias from Counter Terrorist to CT? Seems like the majority of sources online that I see use CT instead of the full words. Don't want to override your edit if you want it kept as "Counter Terrorist" etc... though. |

Nah, I say go for it if that's what most sites are listing it as. I know Steam displays it as "CT" in the image, but the official box art for Europe was completely different: http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/9/3/0/62930_front.jpg I'm glad region-specific naming isn't quite as prevalent as it used to be (at least it doesn't seem to be as bad to me). |

Technically, this isn't a FREE game, but it's close enough and I don't want to make a thread just for this. The $1 tier on this week's Humble Weekly Bundle includes Hack n' Slash and its soundtrack. However, when you redeem the game (and I've confirmed this with other purchasers), you'll immediately get a copy of Spacebase DF-9 in your inventory that you can either activate for yourself or give away. So the total haul from this week's Humble Weekly Bundle $1 tier is Costume Quest, Lumino City, Hack n' Slash and Spacebase DF-9. Not bad for a buck. |

Oh wow, I really wanted to get my hands on Spacebase DF-9 before, then they went and gave up on it, but I guess the community's been putting some work in on it, so for a buck, heck yes! Thanks for that info, I totally would have missed out :D |

I think that Blockstorm is only free to play during this promotion though. I don't think you keep it in your library do you? |

It should be something you can add permanently. If they wanted it to be only free during this promotion, they'd do a free play weekend so it automatically self deletes like every other game does. Every game I've ever added by going to its Steam page and adding while it was free I kept forever. Though it is acting wonky. It's not showing up in my library at all, yet the store page insists I have it.

Yeah, it's been behaving oddly for me as well. Only reason I wondered if it was free free is because they still list it with a purchase price underneath the "play for free" bit. Made me think this was more of a "free weekend" thing that they do with other games, but for longer. |

Jade Empire - Special Edition is apparently going to be the next "On The House" game on Origin. Going to the On The House section still shows the Command & Conquer games, but searching Origin for Jade Empire says it's On the House. If you try to "buy" it, it says there's a problem and doesn't let you. But it will likely be live Tuesday. |

For anyone who didn't tune in to the game awards tonight (or read any followup news for it) you can get Shadow Complex for free. https://www.epicgames.com/shadowcomplex/ Not sure if it's perma-free like say, an on-the-house Origin game, or if it's removed at the end of the month. It's available through December at the least... so long as you use the Epic Games Launcher.
