Although I don't have any current plans to build a native mobile app for Completionator, I do make it a priority to have the site function well on mobile devices since I do recognize the importance of having access to your collection on the go. That being said, I've felt in the past that it can be somewhat clunky to find if I own a game (or what contents I have for it) in a timely manner.

My solution for this is to have a button / icon / link in the mobile header that can be clicked from any page. Upon clicking it, you would be presented with a modal (or maybe a separate, standalone screen, not sure yet) with a single textbox to type in the name of the game you're checking on.

Upon entering a name, the site would display a list of potential matches, including whether you own it or not and what platforms you have it on. I'd like to incorporate price data as well since that can be useful, so maybe a dollar sign that you click on to view the platforms / pricing info from VGPC.

For the mobile users out there, what do you all think about this potential feature?

I think it would be a great addition. Mainly because that is the main reason i use the app on my mobile and currently you have to click to through the complete database or your collection.

I'm going to be pushing out the first version of this feature with the next release. The primary objective for the first release is to provide a way to search for a game and find out whether you own it or not. The next step will be to drill into the details of what you own (i.e. physical / digital, condition, etc) and price info. To access the new feature, there will be a button in the header. While this is primarily intended to be used on mobile, it's accessible on desktop as well.

As always, let me know what you guys think!
