If you find any free games (totally free, not free if you buy X), this is a good place to post about them.

About 2/3 of the way down the Indiegala store page, you can get a free key for the Steam game Chip by entering your e-mail. It has cards, but they won't sell for much.

This is a great thread idea! I already have Chip, but it looks like Bedlam is on sale for $5 and I've been wanting to play that one for a while!

I actually ended up getting a twofer out of Chip.

I went ahead and completed a badge for it, which was dirt cheap because a ton of people now have it and are selling cards, and got a 90% off coupon for The Slaughtering Grounds, which was already 99 cents. So I buy it for 10 cents, and sell cards for more than that.

Effectively, they gave me the game and 15 cents for free. :)

Also, EA's "On The House" games deserve mention here. The current giveaway is Ultima VIII: Pagan, which may not even be worth free if you believe Spoony. ;)

I enjoyed Pagan, but I'm a pretty big fan of the Ultima series in general!

Battle Realms is free on GOG right now, though I don't know for how long. It just says "limited time giveaway". I really enjoyed that game, I should go back and play it...

That was slightly annoying. Wonder why they're not just giving out keys like normal.

I just found out why they're not just giving out the Fearless Fantasy keys. You can also get Fearless Fantasy by spending $3 in the Indiegala store, so if the keys were just being given away for free without runaround, that would wreck that promotion.

I guess the plan was to annoy people into "buying" it if it took too many tries to get a free copy? Solid business model. :P
