I believe The Talos Principle VR should be converted to a compilation to include Road to Gehenna DLC. Thanks.

I believe Half-Life: Platinum should include Half-Life: Blue Shift as well.

@Cheesyben - Shovel Knight Showdown has been added to Treasure Trove.

@elko84 - It appears that there is Half-Life: Platinum and Half-Life: Platinum Collection. They are identical, except the latter includes Blue Shift. I added a new compilation for it.

"Bang! Bang!" is currently listed as only being a Single Player game. It should also be listed as Local Multiplayer / LAN since it allows two players to compete against each other on the same computer.

Was unable to find a couple games.
As far as I understand, these were not released in NA. Not sure about EU.

FamiCom / NES

@SwordfishBooks - Fixed that for ya.

@loomdog32 - Looks like someone went ahead and added those recently.

@Lucoshi - What region is your Boulder Dash set to? The Game Boy release afaik only has JP and PAL versions, so if yours is set to NA it's probably using the default image which I think is the NES art.

"Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien" should be titled "Bit.Trip Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien"

"EarthBound Beginnings", "Earthbound Zero", "Mother", and "EarthBound (NES prototype)" are different versions of the same game.

Likewise, "Mother 2" is the Japanese version of "EarthBound".

The Goonies
There is a "The Goonies (NES Translation)", but I have the original FamiCom cart in Japanese...
I did select this one for now.
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/famicom/goonies

Also,
Parodius (Europe) and Parodius Da! (Japan) are the same game, different localizations. Not sure what was different other than 60Hrz vs 50Hrz playable.
Sucks it was never released in North America for the NES...
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pal-nes/parodius
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/famicom/parodius-da

I just picked up Mother. Looking forward to it. It is the licensed Japanese version of what became Earthbound as stated above.
"EarthBound Beginnings", "Earthbound Zero", and "EarthBound (NES prototype)" are hacks / unlicensed localizations.
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/famicom/mother

Ill go ahead and talk about it here anyways (there are no issues with the listing, AFAIK)
The fourth game in this bundle I picked up was Dig Dug (also not released in NA).

EarthBound Beginnings was an officially licensed release on the Wii U by Nintendo of Mother for the NES in America.

https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/earthbound-beginnings-wii-u/

Thank you for the clarification, but it was NOT released on the NES; where it has no official release.
Which is what I was at least referring to.
The FamiCom release predates the Wii-U release by approx 16 years

It definitely looks like some cleanup is needed on the Mother entries. I think this is what we'll need to do:

  • Combine EarthBound Beginnings and Mother into a single entry. The primary name here would be EarthBound Beginnings and it would have a regional alias of Mother for the Japanese release. A physical release for Japan on NES / Famicom would be needed, as well as digital releases for Wii U in various regions.
  • EarthBound Zero appears to be a hack of an unreleased prototype for the English translation on NES. As such, it would warrant a separate entry here, but would not be considered a physical NES release.
  • EarthBound (NES prototype) seems like it should just be merged with EarthBound Zero.
  • EarthBound and Mother 2 need to be merged as well.

These games fail during steam import:
Flowers -Le volume sur ete- - which is in database under title Flowers: Le Volume sur Été - https://www.completionator.com/Game/Details/51281 , I'm guessing the accented characters are messing matching here, as Flowers -Le volume sur printemps- was correctly detected and matched to Flowers: Le Volume sur Printemps.
VenusBlood FRONTIER International - which is in the database under title VenusBlood FRONTIER - https://www.completionator.com/Game/Details/50216 . The "International" part was added to the title for a western release, this is essentially the same game (see https://vndb.org/v9409#main for details).

The various EarthBound entries have been cleaned up according to my previous post. I also cleaned up The Goonies to have correct metadata and release info.

@kw4s - To ensure accuracy, I manually wire up games on the Steam import (so no issue with the accents or anything). Anyways, those have been taken care of for ya!

Well this is actually a bit funny but actual title for https://www.completionator.com/Game/Details/21845 should be "WarTech: Senko no Ronde". The little squiggly line in the stylized title is actually a "no" hiragana character - https://w.wiki/KY9
The spine of the box has a properly romanized title - https://ibb.co/4Ptnxyf

Tenchi Wo Kurau

aka Destiny of the Emperor for the NES in NA (I did see this title listed).
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/nes/destiny-of-an-emperor?q=destiny+of+an+emperor

and its Japanese only sequel
Tenchi Wo Kurau II (I did not see this title listed).

Tho, the sequel was also released for the Saturn

@loomdog32 - An alias for "Tenchi wo Kurau" has been added for Destiny of an Emperor. The sequel appears to already be on the site, but let me know if you're still having trouble finding it.

"Gravitar (1983") should be renamed Gravitar (1988) since the Atari 2600 version of Gravitar was released on April 2, 1988.

"Tempest (1981)" should be "Tempest (1980)". As the copyright at the start of the game is MCMLXXX.
