One of the upcoming month's PS Plus titles has been officially spoiled. Drawn to Death will be one of the PS4 games next month, and is a rare case of a game being free at its launch. From the PlayStation Blog: "Drawn To Death, as you may know, is a third-person shooter/brawler that takes place entirely inside the pages of a high school kid’s notebook. All of the kid’s creative drawings come to life and battle it out in this highly competitive, fast paced, online action game." http://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/03/15/drawn-to-death-is-free-for-ps-plus-members-this-april/ |

Alleged leak of the April Xbox Live Games With Gold titles for next month that is said to have been posted then deleted from their Austrian store. Titles supposedly include Ryse Son of Rome and Walking Dead, Season 2 for Xbox One and Darksiders and Assassin's Creed Revelations for Xbox 360. The graphic looks legit, but that might be TOO good of a month for Xbox Live. Judge for yourselves: https://www.vg247.com/2017/03/23/xbox-april-games-with-gold-leak-ryse-son-of-rome-the-walking-dead-season-2-included/ |

And the leak has been confirmed. Pretty good month for PS Plus to disappoint in comparison to. :) http://news.xbox.com/2017/03/23/games-with-gold-april-2017/?ocid=GwG_soc_omc_xbo_fb_Video_lrn_3.23.1 It's worth noting that Darksiders is the original version, not the "Warmastered Version" that came out recently. Moho, all 4 titles already in the database, so nothing to do here. |

PS Plus for April 2017. All games available Tuesday, April 4th. PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
Moho, it looks like Drawn to Death (not surprising since it's also launching on Tuesday) and Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom need to be added. Alien Rage - Extended Edition is a border case since Alien Rage is in the database, but not the Extended Edition. Complicating the issue is the fact that Alien Rage on Steam is now Alien Rage - Unlimited. |

@boffo97 - I added Drawn to Death and Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom. Alien Rage Unlimited popped up previously and I'm still not sure what to do with it. I didn't even realize there was an Extended Edition as well. I did a quick Google Image Search for Extended Edition and found nothing, but I might just need to dig a little deeper. |

Games WIth Gold May 2017 has been announced, and while it's looking kind of meh for the native Xbox One games, those are a couple of really good 360 games. Xbox One:
Xbox 360: (Also compatible with Xbox One)
Notes: Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris was part of the PS Plus Instant Game Collection for August 2015. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is becoming increasingly misnamed as it only includes the first two games (which covered the prequels and the classic trilogy respectively), and doesn't include the third game (based on the Clone Wars series) or the recent The Force Awakens game. All these games are already in the database, Moho. :) |

PS Plus for May 2017. All games available 05/02: PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
The only one I know about is Tales from the Borderlands, and free Telltale is never bad. Abzu I think was recently part of a Humble Monthly on Steam. Also, I think this makes it so that the Pre-Sequel is the only Borderlands game that hasn't been given away by PS Plus and/or Xbox Live Gold. |

Games with Gold for June 2017: Xbox One:
Xbox 360: (Also playable on Xbox One)
Pretty good month. I have Watchdogs, but only on PS3, and I may be getting an Xbox One in the near future. It's hard to imagine anyone NOT having Dragon Age: Origins as it has been in the PS Plus Instant Game Collection (January 2016) and in several PC bundles for Steam and/or Origin but still a great game. Assassin's Creed III isn't one of the best games in the series, but free AC is never a bad thing. Speedrunners should appeal to some. The DLC gets a big yawn from me. Moho: Everything is in the database already. |

And here's PS Plus for June 2016. I'd do searches for any games not in the database already, but the TV I was using as a monitor broke down and I'm stuck with a lower resolution monitor and no search bar is coming up. All games available Tuesday, June 6th. PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
Kind of a meh month it seems. |

Here's Games With Gold for July. PS Plus should come out in a couple of days. Xbox One:
Xbox 360 (and One):
Moho, Runbow is missing, though Runbow Deluxe and Runbow Pocket Deluxe are in the database. My take: The current gen games are a little meh. Grow Up is the sequel to Grow Home, which I've played and didn't care for, but I might need to give it more of a chance. Runbow I've never heard of before. In the last gen game, Kane & Lynch 2 is pretty meh (and I just got fired from Gamespot), but I love the Lego games and I didn't have PotC in any form before now. |

And here's the PS Plus games for July. All games available Tuesday, July 4th. PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
Reactions: Until Dawn could be fun since it's supposed to be like a horror movie where your decisions (and who survives) end up changing the story outcome. Game of Thrones is the Telltale series (with all episodes of course), and free Telltale is always a good thing. Tokyo Jungle is a weird little game where humanity is gone and animals are taking over the overgrown ruins of cities, and as either a carnivore or an herbivore, you have to survive. Don't know anything and the Darkstalkers franchise other than one of its characters being in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, and I have no clue about the PS4 titles. Bonuses: From 7/4 to 10/24, you can claim the party game That's You as Sony is giving it away to launch its new Playlink thing. It's a party game where you play via a phone app. Also, from 7/18 to 8/15, you'll be able to join the beta for Orcs Must Die Unchained (which I'm guessing is a free to play game) and get an exclusive Plus pack for the game. Moho, everything is in the database already except That's You. |

Until Dawn is a lot of fun, pretty much like an interactive movie with various bits where you make choices to see who makes it by the end and who doesn't. |

Because the 1st Tuesday of the month (When PS Plus updates) is the 1st, both services update on the same day, so I waited until both were announced. Xbox Live Games With Gold: August 1st: Slime Rancher (One) and Bayonetta (360) enter rotation. Grow Up (One) and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean (360) rotate out. PS Plus Instant Game Collection: August 1st: All previous games rotate out. PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
This just might be the best combined month between the two services I've seen. I've heard good things about Slime Rancher and Trials is always good. I actually had Bayonetta previously and thought about reacquiring it and now I don't have to. Later Red Faction games aren't the best, but they have a little fun to be had. Very strong PS4 showing, although Just Cause 3 is my first case where I already had something offered for the PS4. Combined with an Assassin's Creed game (though a short one from what I've heard isn't bad). I don't know much about the PS3 and Vita games despite already having Super Motherload (which is apparently not a typo) on Steam. Moho: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Freedom Cry is in the database. Not sure if that is the same game or not. There is also a Level 22, Gary's Misadventures in the database that I'm not sure if it's the correct game. Finally, Snakeball needs to be added. |

Freedom Cry is a standalone DLC for Assassin's Creed IV, so that entry is correct as is. Level 22 should be the same game as Level 22 Gary's Misadventure, unless there's a version difference between PC and console that I'm unaware of. |

Xbox Live Games With Gold - September 2017: September 1st: Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition (XB1) and Hydro Thunder Hurricane (360) rotate in. Slime Rancher (XB1) and Red Faction: Armageddon rotate out. September 16th: Oxenfree (XB1) and Battlefield 3 (360) rotate in. Trials Fusion (XB1) and Hydro Thunder Hurricane rotate out. Forza is always a good thing, and the name implies you're getting all the DLC. I don't know anything about Oxenfree. Hydro Thunder is always fun, though I think this was a digital only title. And Battlefield 3... Battlefield 3 is, along with GTA IV, one of those games I just can't stop getting. I bought it on PSN. Then it was released on PS Plus. Then Origin made it one of the On The House games. Then when I got my used Xbox 360, it came as part of the 10 games that came with it. And now on Games with Gold, thus leaving me with an unsellable physical copy. Moho, all 4 games are already in the database, though Forza Motorsport 5 is in as just the base game, not the Racing Game of the Year edition.

PS Plus September 2017 games, available Tuesday, September 5th: PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
PS VR:
PS3 and Vita games were originally announced differently, with PS3 getting Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings, and PS Vita getting Hue (crossbuy with PS4) and Sky Force Anniversary (crossbuy with PS4 and PS3). No word on why the wrong announcement. A lot of PS Plus players have ended up getting pretty much the entire Infamous series for free, with Infamous 1 being given out for free in the "Welcome Back" package after the 2011 PSN Hack (and perhaps again in the class action suit settlement that gave out games), and Infamous 2 (PS3) and First Light (PS4) being given out on PS Plus before this. Moho, Handball 2016 isn't in the database, and Strike Vector Ex isn't. Strike Vector is, but I don't know if Ex is a special edition of that or a different game. |

Strike Vector EX would need it's own entry. The original was just a multiplayer shooter while EX adds some singleplayer stuff to the game. |

Games with Gold and PS Plus IGC for October both announced today. Xbox Live: October 1st: Gone Home (XB1) and Rayman 3 HD (360) rotate in. Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition (XB1) and Battlefield 3 (360) rotate out. October 16th: The Turing Test (XB1) and Medal of Honor: Airborne (360) rotate in. Oxenfree (XB1) and Rayman 3 HD rotate out. Playstation Plus: PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
This is the first month in a while where PS Plus seems to CLEARLY win. The PS4 games (outside of the Vita crossbuy) are older but good titles, and you're basically getting 5 new games for PS4 this month. I was absolutely going to buy Phantom Pain at some point. Gone Home was also previously on PS Plus, so that's a strike there. Also, we now know what happened to the games announced and then retracted for PS3 and Vita last month. Someone apparently read this month's list early. Moho, all games listed are already in the database. |

Xbox Live Games With Gold for November announced. PS+ IGC will likely be a while longer since the first Tuesday of the month is the 11/7. Xbox One: November 1st: Trackmania Turbo (XB1) and NIGHTS into dreams (360) rotate in. Gone Home (XB1) and Medal of Honor: Airborne (360) rotate out. November 16th: Tales from the Borderlands (XB1) and Deadfall Adventures (360) rotate in. The Turing Test (XB1) and NIGHTS into dreams (360) rotate out. Kind of a bleah month IMO, especially given that Tales from the Borderlands was already part of the Playstation Plus IGC. |

PS3:
PS Vita:
Also, as a bonus, the PS VR game Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is free from 11/07/17 to 01/02/18 with PS Plus. After the great PS+ month last year, not the best month for either service this time. Moho, looks like all the games for both services are in the database already. |

A bit late this month, as I was underwhelmed by the meh both PS+ and GWG are offering this month. Games With Gold, December 2017: December 1st: Warhammer - End Times: Vermintide (XB1) and Child of Eden (360) rotate in. Trackmania Turbo (XB1) and Deadfall Adventures (360) rotate out. December 16th: Back to the Future - The Game (XB1) and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death (360) rotate in. Tales from the Borderlands (XB1) and Child of Eden rotate out. Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection, December 2017: PS4:
PS3:
PS Vita:
There is a LOT here I already have and a LOT I recognize from bundles. And the main big title here, Darksiders II, I already had from a Humble Bundle for PlayStation. Back to the Future is kind of laughable as, while it's a good game, it's been in tons of bundles and was already given away back in the PS3 days by PS+. Oh well, maybe the Kung Fu Panda game will be half decent. Moho, Wanted Corp needs to be added to the database, and the Syberia Collection, which seems to be a compilation of Syberia and Syberia 2 (in a TON of bundles and both given away free before.) |
