Yep, those were from Groupees' Visual Novel 2 bundle. They had limited quantities, so it was only up for a few hours pre-order and about the same once it went live. I've seen so many people talking about Steins;Gate, I may just have to give it a look.

Thanks for the additions, moho!

Does anyone know if Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered is worthy of a separate entry or should it just be combined with the original version? I'm not familiar with it, but it looks like it's just a cleaned up version with the more or less the same content. So I was going to just have it use the original game, unless told otherwise.

It's a cleaned up version, but it's also got a new mode, new achievements, and a separate listing in my Steam library. ETA: In my mind, it's similar to other remasters, like the Binding of Isaac, which seem to be listed separately here. :)

Also, new GOG and IGS games!

I got an odd error with the GOG import where it said that none of the games I listed were in the system, even though most of them are already in my collection - I'm sure you got a notification. The only ones that are really missing, as far as I can tell, are some of the AD&D games that GOG just released.

Collection 1: https://www.gog.com/game/forgotten_realms_the_archives_collection_one

  • Eye of the Beholder II: The Legend of Darkmoon
  • Eye of the Beholder III: Assault on Myth Drannor

Collection 2: https://www.gog.com/game/forgotten_realms_the_archives_collection_two

  • Treasures of the Savage Frontier
  • Curse of the Azure Bonds
  • Pools of Darkness
  • Gateway to the Savage Frontier
  • Forgotten Realms: Unlimited Adventures

Collection 3: https://www.gog.com/game/forgotten_realms_the_archives_collection_three

  • Menzoberranzan

From the hints they've dropped, I expect more of the SSI/gold box games will be coming. :)

Hey everyone, I apologize for the delay, but I won't be able to add any new games to the site until Wednesday (8/26) or Thursday (8/27). Feel free to keep adding them here and I can scoop 'em all up at once.

@penumbren - Regarding the games that are "missing", but already on the site, it's a matter of mapping the GOG games to an entry in the Completionator database. I'll take care of that when I load in the new games :)

I'm finally back to adding games! I think I added everything that was outstanding, but let me know if you see any that I missed.

Not sure how you want to do this... but there's a new version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, called The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux. It's free with the original version, but it's a remaster in Unreal Engine 4 and it's listed separately in GOG/Steam libraries. Doesn't sound there's anything really different other than the engine and various tweaks/upgrades.

@penumbren - Regarding The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux, I saw that one come through on the Steam import the other day and I made it so it maps to the original game, rather than creating a new entry. I only did a brief amount of research and it sounds like it wasn't a huge change to the game. The rule I've generally followed is if a game is significantly altered and / or has a retail release, I'll add it. I'm still not adding "Collector's Edition" / "Special Edition" type of retail releases, but I mean more of "Game of the Year Edition" or a real example would be Resident Evil: Director's Cut. I feel having a dedicated entry for retail releases is important for physical collectors (including myself). I know that hasn't nothing to do with your post, but I figured I'd toss out my thought process :)

All that being said, if anyone feels this redux deserves its own entry, let me know and I can add it!

No, that logic makes sense to me. From that, it sounds like their planned "VR Version" would be worth a separate entry (if it ever happens), as they're planning significant changes to make VR do-able.

While I have you here.... ;) Aside from Dropsy, mentioned above, there are some more GOG releases:

Thanks again! And yes, Starship Titanic is one I've always wanted to play. I read the book, years ago, and remember nothing of it. I know the game got bad reviews, but I suspect I'll enjoy it regardless. :)
