Here's another one of those weird cases I like bringing you.

On October 31st, Microsoft is putting out Disneyland Adventures and Pixar Rush for Windows and Xbox One (In fact, if you buy it, you get both versions). These are the same games as Kinect Disneyland Adventures and Kinect Pixar Rush, but are remastered and can be controlled either through Kinect, controller or keyboard and mouse.

So same games, just remastered under a slightly different title.

Also A.D. 2044, free on GOG right now, needs to be added.

Need Jurassic Park for Gamegear. It's different than Jurassic Park: The Game and the rest of the Jurassic Parks currently listed.

• .hack//G.U. Last Recode - I know this is a remaster, but is it considered a compilation? It contains the three GU games plus a fourth chapter, but it's not really treated like a compilation from what I can tell.
• 8-Bit Adventure Anthology: Volume I - Any idea if the three games this contains are truly "remakes" and thus should be given their own entries separate from the ones we have now? This line is kinda funny: "Now is your chance to play Shadowgate, The Uninvited, and Déjà Vu the way they were supposed to be played — with a controller in hand and worlds waiting to be explored!" They were all on the NES...

I haven't actually tried .hack recode yet, so I don't know the structure precisely. What would the difference between a remaster and an anthology be? The original games would let you carry over your save file from chapter to chapter so I'd probably have to play through the first chapter to see if they make you do a hard chapter break and transfer, or if they seamlessly move over. Looking at screenshots, the world geometry looks very PS2-esque, so it's probably a FFX HD or Jak and Daxter HD level of remastering.

As for the 8-bit collection on NES, I'm sure they're referring to the various Mobile and computer ports with that one. Has it been released on console since the NES? The demo for the games looks identical to the original ones, so I think they're just running them in an emulator or something rather than remastering them.

I don't know if your system supports game aliases, but Star Control 3 is now officially known as Star Control: The Kessari Quadrant on Steam and GOG. I guess they wanted to remove it from series continuity?

In some places, it's just Star Contrl: Kessari Quadrant.
