Thank you! I'm almost done now importing all my games, I just have a few left that doesn't seem to be in the system:

Cheese Cat-Astrophe Starring Speedy Gonzales
Monkey Island - Special Edition Collection

I am in the process of adding my games and I noticed Gamersgate isn't amongst the available platforms.
I know they are not that big enough anymore (and they never really were but they were larger than nowadays) but they were the first digital platform I ever used and I still own decent amount of games over there.

If it is not to be added, no problem, I can keep those games under other with them being from GG as note but it would be cool if it did.
There is D2D that is nothing big either, Impulse that I am not srure even works anymore and Desura that is in some wiers state of weirdness right now so I thought why not to ask about GAmersgate as well.

I know it is not game but I felt it is still fitting thread. :-)
Sorry, if it isn't.

Also would it be possible to be able to add games to library without them being in site database or is it something undesired?
It would be kind of neat for my collection of various free games that are mostly not deserving of their own database entry (but I still want to have them sorted out),

@Drymonema, @Omeganuker, @Lynxo - Those have all been added!

@Vitek - I know you registered a while ago, but since that was your first post....welcome to the forums :D I just added GamersGate for ya. The fact that Direct2Drive is in the list should tell you how long ago I started working on Completionator :P

Unfortunately, I don't plan on adding support for adding games to your collection that are not in the site database. There are a lot of features these days that rely on your collection having a curated game (rather than free-form text) and it would be quite an undertaking to re-architect things.

As for the missing free games, they might very well belong here since we have lots of mods, ROM hacks, homebrew, and Steam free-to-play games already on the site (not to mention we're eventually going to have hardware, so branching out completely from games). The only types of games I'm hesitant to add would be mobile games since that kinda opens up the floodgates. In other words, feel free to post 'em here and I'll see what I can do :D

I'm new to the site and am excited by the prospect of having a digital database for ever-growing game collection.

However, I can't seem to find an entry for The Order: 1886, a Playstation 4 game that came out not terribly long ago. Sure, it's not a great game but if I'm going to try to document my collection, I can't very well omit the shoddier titles.

Sorry if this has already been addressed on this thread.

EDIT: Aaaaaaaaaand I found it. I have no idea how I missed it using the search engine multiple times, but there you go. Please disregard this entry.

On Topic:

Updated the following information for the database:

  • Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (added Giant Bomb ID)
  • Added "Kojima Productions (Independent)" to the list of Developers. I felt like this is appropriate to have added because of Hideo Kojima's new company under the same name, but not affiliated with Konami. (So excited for Death Stranding..I was left speechless with what I saw in the trailer! Norman Reedus himself! The man!)

Off Topic:

^ This guy has the best username on the site, give him some kind of extra Achievement please xD.

Just bought the The Stealth Inc 1 & 2 Ultimate-est edtion on PSN (!/nl-nl/games/the-stealth-inc-1-2-ultimate-est-edition/cid=EP4395-CUSA01431_00-SINCULTIMATEST00?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=playstation%20store&utm_campaign=PX+-+PlayStation&EMCID=GM300000_store).

It includes Stealth Inc 1 which is not in your database as is, only a version called Stealth Bastard.
Anyway, the game can be found here :!/nl-nl/games/stealth-inc-ultimate-edition/cid=EP4395-CUSA00292_00-STEALTHINCPS4000

Can you add both the package and the game so I can add it to my collection? Thanks!

Just a quick ref that Stealth Bastard became Stealth Inc on consoles because of naming issues. Aside from the name they are the same game, though, so it should be added as an alias I think.

This brings up a question. If, for example, I have "Stealth Inc" on PS3, but it correlates to "Stealth Bastard" DB entry here, which name will show in my collection?

@Marcus - Those have all been added!

@Marcelloz - I added a bunch of Stealth Inc games, including the Ultimate-est Edition. Let me know if I missed anything or have the compilations set incorrectly. I went ahead and added a new / separate entry for Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark since I had previously done this for other games (i.e. add multiple entries for more-or-less just name changes). I added the "regular" Ultimate Edition, which was for the game and two DLC packs. The Ultimate-est Edition is the same thing, except it also includes the sequel.

Yeah, the monthly sucked. Except I'm justifying the price personally because Jackbox Party Pack 2 was included ;)

@Kuo - Welcome to the site! The game you requested has been added. Let me know if you need anymore added or if you have any feedback / questions about the site!

@Marcus - I'm having trouble finding info on some of the Apple II games, but I loaded everything else EXCEPT the Sakura Wars games. I wanted to see if you knew anything about the Dreamcast remakes? We already have Sakura Taisen since I have it on the Saturn, but do you think the Dreamcast version warrants a separate entry? From what I could tell, it looks like an enhanced port, so I could go either way.

@Drymonema - Those have been added!

@Moho_00 I'm not like a huge Apple II collector or anything, but a lot of these are by the same team. It's totally possible it's a local company as well, as a lot of my non-gaming stuff (educational discs) have labels suggesting the developers are from nearby cities. If that's the case then I can see why there's little to no info online. No box art or anything on the Alpha Software games specifically either, just dull labels. Maybe for games like that just have a default floppy disc image fro the box art and let it be? lol

Yes, the Dreamcast version is basically an enhanced/expanded port and in this instance I think it warrants its own entry. I guess it depends on whether or not this is handled in the same way with other games. Up to you :0.

Thank you as always!

Hey Moho, can you add the Rocket League Collectors Edition? It's on PS4 and XboxOne....unless you think it shouldn't be a separate entry?

Are there plans to add individual Skylanders/Lego Dimensions/Disney Infinity characters?

Yep, all of those "toys to life" brands you mentioned will eventually be on here. We've added some of the Disney Infinity figures and I really need to add Skylanders because I have a ton! If you have any in particular you'd like to see added (i.e. what's in your collection / wish list), feel free to post here and I'll add them first.
